ARC'TERYX athletes stay in our Chalets

This December, the sponsored athletes of the outdoor clothing and equipment manufacturer Arc'teryx visited Slovenia and the Julian Alps for their press camp.

The athletes were there to test and give feedback on the companies 2012/13 product range. It was fantastic to meet such a passionate and diverse group of athletes.

They stayed with us in Chalet Soca and in Chalet Julian for the duration of their Slovene visit.

Taster Break- long weekend in the Slovene Alps

Sunday on Stol

Mount Stol is directly up behind our place. Its on the Italian boarder with views of the Soca Valley on the route up. There is a forestry road that leads up to the saddle, with a single track beyond up to the summit.

Touring on Stol makes for a great day out - just make sure you've had your porridge!
